High School Tag

1. Did you date someone from your school? Yep. That's all you get.

2. What kind of car did you drive? As if my parents would let ME drive. For some reason I had to ride with my YOUNGER brother Richard. That was fine until he started driving a lavendar hatchback that he and his friends cut the top off of to make it a convertible. Sigh...

3. What was the most embarrassing moment of HS? I think I've repressed those memories. I can't think of anything.

4. Were you a party animal? Nope.

5. Were you considered a flirt? Also no.

6. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir? I was in band for a few years. I played the clarinette.

7. Were you a nerd? I don't think so, although the clarinette didn't help anything. I was more of a jock/preppy/brain. It was a small school, everyone had to fill more than one position.

8. Were you on any varsity teams? Yes. Basketball and track.

9. Did you get suspended/expelled? No way.

10. Can you still sing the fight song? I remember my mom could always sing it, but I don't remember it.

11. Who were your favorite teachers? I loved English from Mr. Barber, he made me love reading, writing, and made me feel smart. I loved every class and sport that Coach Johnson taught or coached. He's a cool guy.

12. Where did you sit during lunch? Cafeteria down at the Elementary School. We had to walk a couple blocks to it since our high school didn't have a cafeteria. Some kids ate at the pizza place or Maverik, but I never had any money.

13. School mascot? The Mighty Bulldogs.

14. Did you go to homecoming, and with who? Yes. I only remember my Junior year though, Cannon Mix from Rexburg.

15. If you could go back and do it again, would you? Mmm, not so much. I had some identity issues. I like myself a lot more now. I do miss a lot of people though!

16. What do you remember most about graduation? Not much. I do remember that we were all told we couldn't throw our hats in the air because it was too dangerous or something. I don't think anyone paid any attention, I know I didn't. I threw it as high as I could.

17. Where did you go senior skip day? Lagoon with the rest of the class...

18. Were you in any clubs? Just the honor club. I don't know if there were any others?

19. Have you gained some weight since then? I'll plead the 5th on that.

20. Who was your prom date? Junior year - Casey, Senior year - Brent. Our theme songs were both ballads from hair bands. We were so cool!

21. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion? I haven't been able to make to any of my reunions. I am determined to make to the next one.

22. Looking back, what advice would you give yourself? Don't worry about what others think.

My memories are pretty sparse. Either I'm really old or I'm repressing everything. Probably a little of both. I tag Debbie, Beth, Heather and Karolyn.
